Warm Up New Zealand: Heat Smart is an insulation and clean heating programme that will give more New Zealanders than ever before the opportunity to make their homes warmer, drier and more energy efficient, and the nationwide Air Con group are approved service contractors for the EECA home heating and insulation programmes and funding. We have fully trained and approved insulation and heating teams of assessors and installers available in most locations around New Zealand including Nelson. This provides you with a choice of insulation solutions like Terra Lana natural wool ceiling insulation and underfloor insulation, Tasman pink batts and Autex polyester and clean heating appliances like an Energy Star heat pump. Insulation and clean heating appliances are available for all consumers, including landlords with homes that are built prior to the year 2000. Discounts are available, ranging from 33% up to $1,300 for insulation only, or in some cases up to 60% discount and $1,200 off heat pumps.
